Like the four horsemen of the apocolypse….. I got to see these guys mash against the best pitching in the state. There was no answer for them. If you threw it, they hit it. Once on base, they were heads up and heading for home on anything hit out of the infield. If they hit a double off you, you felt lucky.
It will be a long time before any little league team in Colonie assembles beasts like these guys were at 1-4 in the Vellano line-up.

Well deserved for these guys. Watching them perform for VB and for CLL was pure joy…and it sure made coaching much easier. If they aren’t the best 1 thru 4 punch that CLL ever had, i sure would like to meet who was…these guys will go down in hostory!!!
Getting to know these 4 young ballplayers,watching them mature and grow into young men,sharing their triumphs and defeats,has been very special to me over these past 3 years.I’ll never forget them,or their families.Congratulations on your induction to the Vellano Brothers Hall of Fame!
